Knit-A-Tit
I found this pattern on-line but adjusted it to meet my needs. You can do the same. :) Be creative!
Materials: Skein of sport, dk, or worsted (medium) weight cotton yarn (I use a soft baby yarn that was not cotton but is soft against the skin) Set of size 5 or 6 double point needles (dpn). Adjust needle sizes to make a nice fabric; not too tight or too loose, around 5-6 stitches per inch. (I used size 5), Darning needle.
Directions: Cast on 6 sts Divide the 6 sts among 3 needles to join the round. Continue knitting in rounds, increasing 1 stitch before the last stitch on each needle.
After knitting a few rounds, bring the tail from the beginning to the inside of the tit. Knit 16-40 stitches per needle (to make different sized breasts).
For an A-cup 16-19 sts, B-cup 20-25 sts, C-cup 26-30 sts, D-cup 32-40 sts. Have fun with it. You can use bright colors and be creative.
Purl two rows around.
Continue knitting in rounds. Decrease one stitch at the beginning of each needle.(k1, skip one, k1, cast one over) and decrease one stitch at the end of each needle.(when 3 stitches remain on needle, knit two together, then knit one) on every round until 5 stitches remain on each needle.
Using your darning needle, loosely pull yarn through remaining loops and take off the dpn's, cutting a 12" tail. Leave open to be filled. Stuff tit with fiberfill into a breast shape. Some people prefer a weighted breast (esp. those with one breast). To make it weighted, put a little sack of plastic pellets inside. (you can get these at a craft store and sew them into a little pouch. Put it in the middle of the stuffing.)
If donating, leave yarn tails free for wearer to adjust to their size and shape.
I've had a double mastectomy with no reconstruction. I've tried a lot of different bras with my new titties and believe it or not, the best one I've found, where the boobies stay in place nicely, and it is comfortable, is the No Boundaries, (Wal-Mart brand) spaghetti strap, seamless sports bra for $3.88) I couldn't find it on-line but it looks much like the Danskin Now Women's Strappy Seamless Sport Bras 2-Pack that is for sale on the Wal-Mart website.
It must have the hole in the side where the bra liners go and adjustable straps. You can stuff the breast through the little hole in the bra. Then you just put the whole bra on in the morning and it is complete with breasts. If you donate to a cancer center, it would be awesome if you included a bra with your titties, so people know which type works well with the titties. (oh, and one more little tit-bit. The titties creep toward the middle of the bra, but if you take a darning needle and sew a little line vertically on each side of the center of the bra, it keeps them from creeping to the middle and giving you a uni-boob.)

If you sew some yarn in a line straight down, just to the left and right of center, it keeps them from creeping together and becoming a uni-boob.
